1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all speed dating events booked through this platform. By registering, you accept these conditions.
2. Platform and Organizer
citydate provides the platform for booking and conducting speed dating events. The events are organized and conducted by independent organizers.
3. Registration and Contract
By registering for an event, a binding contract is established between you and the respective organizer. Registration is personal and non-transferable. Only one registration per person per event is allowed. You must be at least 18 years old.
4. Prices and Payment
Listed prices are final prices in the respective currency. Payment is made depending on the event:
- Online at registration (via Stripe)
- Cash on site
Voucher codes can be redeemed before payment. For bookings with a companion, the pair price shown on the event page applies. Both persons receive their own confirmation and access code.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel your participation at any time via your login. Cancellations up to 48 hours before the event will be compensated with a voucher for another event (no monetary refund).
6. Waitlist
If an event is fully booked, you can join the waitlist. If a spot becomes available, you will automatically move up and be notified by email.
7. Matching Process
After the event, you can indicate via the matching system who you would like to see again. Contact details (first name and email) are only exchanged in case of mutual interest ("match").
8. Code of Conduct
All participants commit to respectful behavior. The organizer reserves the right to exclude persons for inappropriate behavior — without entitlement to a refund.
9. Liability
The organizer assumes no liability for the formation of matches or contacts between participants. citydate does not verify the accuracy of participant information. Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

11. Changes
These terms may be amended at any time. The version in effect at the time of use applies.
12. Applicable Law
Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of the respective organizer.
